This is a BEFORE picture of some tattoos I re-worked and incorporated into the new piece. The tattoo on his back is a family crest, and the tattoo on the front are some rune stones also in honor of his family.

This is the finished product!
I've just found out that this very lively and adventurous gentleman has passed away while undertaking survival training. His name is Dave Bushow. He talked about this survival training trip alot during our time together when I was tattooing him, and I worried that he might get a sunburn (because it's bad for the tattoo), but I NEVER EVER thought that he wouldn't make it back alive. In the short but intense (there's alot of time to talk when you're working on a big tattoo like this :))span of time I knew him, I was amazed by tales of his travels, his time in the service, and we enjoyed much playful banter. He was a really nice person, a smart person, and he had a wicked funny sense of humor. My heart goes out to his family and his many friends. Dave, you are a true adventurer to the very end, and you will be missed. There is a link to his memorial website on the contact page of this site...

This is a view of Dave's shoulders... I just have to say that Dave really sat like a champ for this tattoo (which covers some very painful areas). It takes strength of character to sit for a large tattoo.

This is a cover-up: before, during, and after on the lovely Lady Rigel. For more information on this beautiful burlesque dancer, I have provided a link to her website on the contact page of this site.
